Caffè Vito is a great and lively Italian restaurant (really more of a hip pizza place, actually) in the Marais. The servers are charming and informal and the clientele swings toward hip and gay or gay-friendly. And the pizza is delicious! Fyi, pizza in France is a little different than in the States, but nothing too bizarre; pizzas are for one person, plate-sized, and have thin crust. And the French eat pizza with a knife and fork, so be careful! No one will tell you not to eat with your hands, but you might get some funny looks. Best of all, Caffè Vito is not too expensive, especially for trendy central Paris; the pizzas range from about 12 to 15 Euros. Share a bottle of not-too-expensive Italian wine, and you're all set! Ooh, and the tiramisu is excellent too!
