  Quaint, old-fashioned café that's also an absinthe bar.
• L'Imprévu Café

  Charming, laid back place to enjoy a coffee or a beer.
• La Rotonde
  105, Boulevard du Montparnasse, 75006 Paris
  Wonderful brasserie/restaurant where Picasso and Hemingway hung out.
• Café Noir
  65, Rue Montmartre, 75002 Paris
  Cute café in the Rue Montmartre/Rue Montorgueil area
• Café Tournesol
  9, Rue de la Gaîté, 75014 Paris
  Friendly, casual, somewhat artsy café in the Montparnasse area.
• Les Deux Magots
  6, Place Saint-Germain des Prés, 75006 Paris
  Touristy and overpriced, but Hemingway hung out there! Also Picasso, Sartre, and Camus.
