Creperie Lepic Assiette

35, Rue Lepic, 75018 Paris (Map)
Métro: Blanche, Abbesses

This creperie has a rustic, friendly charm, and was my absolute favorite place for crepes when I lived up in Montmartre. There's a cute little black and white bulldog on the cover of the menu, and on my third or fourth visit I discovered that this mascot actually exists and was in fact lazing around on the floor by the kitchen. (Dogs in restaurants is something I really had to get used to in Paris, but now it seems normal to me.) The place is located on a relatively quiet stretch of Rue Lepic, right across the street from Vincent Van Gogh's old apartment! Definitely cross the street and locate the little plaque at number 54 when you're there.
