Tiny sassy dude hiding on the Fontaine Saint-Michel

There he is...

Is he sticking his tongue out? Why I never!

This is one of my favorite weird art things I've ever noticed in Paris. This little well-dressed young man sticking his tongue out was glued onto the fountain at Saint-Michel, and it would have been easy to miss if you're looking at, you know, the big gorgeous fountain. I don't know how I noticed it, but I'm glad I did!

I first spotted this guy around 2008, and I'd assumed he must be long gone by now, but I just confirmed during a recent (2019) stroll that he's still there! I admire the little guy's sticktoitiveness.
